Toronto International Swahili Festival (TISWAF) is an annual event that brings people together to celebrate Swahili arts, crafts, music, films, and literature in Toronto. TISWAF is the largest Swahili cultural event in Northern America. TISWAF is organized by Swahili Society Centre. Swahili Society Centre is the largest African community in the GTA and it intends to break diversity barriers, build a credible and trusted platform for Swahili-speaking people and their friends to celebrate Swahili culture and its authenticity in Canada.
